Description |
| Executive Committee* |
The primary role of the committee is to provide oversight of the operations of the organization. This committee has the power to transact all regular business of the Consortium during the period between meetings of the Board with some limitations as defined by the Bylaws. |
| Planning Committee |
This committee oversees the drafting of the Regional Perinatal and Pediatric Plan/Strategic Plan, monitors the promulgation of new regulations applicable to the Consortium, and performs all planning functions, subject to the discretion of the Board. |
| Finance Committee |
This committee exercises general supervision over the financial activities of the Consortium and is responsible to the Board for insuring the financial integrity of the organization. |
Membership/Nominating/ Bylaws Committee |
This committee has the duty to identify and assess the qualifications of prospective members of the Consortium and the duty to nominate candidates to be elected as Trustees and Officers. The committee is responsible for reviewing the Bylaws of the Consortium periodically and recommending appropriate revisions accordingly. |
| Continuous Quality Improvement Committee |
The CQI committee is responsible for managing the Consortium’s total quality improvement program and developing/monitoring the region wide system for on-going total quality improvement. |
| Multidisciplinary Review* |
The MRT committee reviews data from individual cases and makes recommendations that translate the data into usable information for local action. Additionally, regional action steps are developed for key issues. |
| Advocacy Committee |
The role of this committee is to identify legislation related to maternal and child health and serve as a resource and voice for the women and children in our region. |
| Resource and Development Committee |
This committee explores opportunities to raise funds for future programs and projects of the Consortium. |
| Marketing Committee |
This committee determines new and innovative ways to publicize and share with the community the mission and activities of the Consortium. |
